Is this a new phenomena? No.
Is it actually making the racing better or worse? Don't we need cars that have different relative pace over different parts of the GP weekend, or different conditions to enable overtaking or different winners?
Isn't it unfair that one team has better traction due to their chassis, or another a better engine, or a third better aero? Why not ban variations in these?
