Dave rode for Harlow CC the same time I did mid eighties
The club had their own 45 degree 200m wooden track adjacent to the station...it's long gone now.
There are/were sprinters with big legs...but Dave's put everyone elses in the shade literally...hence he was known as Dave Legro
