Well if you look at Phils time for when he did the BTRDA Modified Final at Croft, his time would have been good enough for him to beat Ryan Lawford (who won the stockhatch A final) by quite a bit. Thats the best example we have of 16v vs 8v.
However, in London, Phil did his upmost to keep up with the 306, but that bit more power the 306 has was too much. Phils Lupo is very well prepared, its just down to the power difference.
I think Pro Car 2 Litre will be a good class this year once the new cars that are being built come out, but I dont think a 1.6 16v will be taking any of the spoils.
