There isn't a UK sale rule for Super 2000 - cars can either be FIA homologated or BTCC nationally - the BTCC and Swedish TCC have an agreement to share a list of national homologations. I'm not sure if the 320si was offered in the UK.

If other series were to adopt NGTC, it wouldn't be a good idea to box teams in that way - Vauxhalls and Opels would probably need different homologations, when the only part that is different between the two road cars is the badge.
