this beautiful article about the Road to Indy program. It's true: one or two drivers have climbed each of the past few years. Old guys will eventually retire: Franchitti, Castroenves, Kanaan, Wilson, Tagliani, Serviá. IndyCar must keep investing in the ladder, so young drivers keep filling the vacant spots.
