If USRC were to make it a true Gt3 class the GT3R would need to be an option rather than a cup car, but at that point they're stepping on the toes of the GTE machines pace-wise, budgets go up (I would guess) and at some tracks the GT3 cars would likely be faster. (more horsepower but less aero would suit Daytona I would guess)
The lower GT class will have the stupid 911 GT America as its benchmark, not a 911 Cup car.
