Thanks, I had overlooked that. So, my question... Is the energy recovered from the pressure of the exhaust or recovered from the heat of the exhaust? If it is the pressure, then the turbine is creating compressed air for the intake and simultaneously driving a turbine that is generating electricity. If it is working like a thermocouple, then it is generating electricity from the absorbed heat of the exhaust and not its pressure.
