Its not about looking out for other series, it's about looking out for Australian motorsport as a whole. V8Supercars can't exist on it's own, it needs a healthy Australian motorsport industry behind it. Clashing events does not help the industry as a whole.
Australian motorsport needs to work together, not tear eachother down.
