We have a "right turn on red" rule in Canada which some people take to mean WITHOUT STOPPING FIRST. Today one of them nearly ran me down in the crosswalk, slammed on his brakes and then sat there screaming out the window at me for being in the crosswalk! Being a politely raised young lady as I am, I could scream a lot louder than he could and after reminding him that the law requires him to stop at the red light, I told him I was a lawyer (not exactly true) and if he kept it up he'd be hearing from me further. He decided to make his turn and get the heck out of Dodge instead.
I would add to him the inconsiderate prats on bicycles and skateboards who use the sidewalks and scream at pedestrians, the morons who PARK THEIR CARS on the sidewalks, and all those with doublewide baby carriages who walk slower than the average slug.
