Im not sure your second point is correct, In my opinion, I dont think its devalued rather the championship winner has become equalised. Now they are both awesome achievements
although i guess relatively that might be devalued
I can name both winners now, where as in the past it was always about Bathurst, reckon that has been what v8 supercars set out to achieve.
Both get awards at the end of year ceremony
