You'd have a series running at NOLA, Daytona, Sebring, Firebird, West Palm and Homestead. Teams like to have a break. It was questionable when Grand-Am had the season finale at the end of October and then the test days in the beginning of January.
The GTS invitational class sounds like it's a FLM, TRG and GMG class then because I can't see others jumping on the bandwagon to go wipe out a car just for fun. It's actually secret code for "we ain't got enough cars and the promoter is concerned".
Good to see Jeff Ward back. I was his DAG back when he ran Indy Lights.
