To be fair, Alonso lost the 2010 championship by 4 points to Seb, and he screwed up what was a shoe in Monaco victory by binning the Ferrari in practice 3 and could not show up for qualifying. Finished 8th in the race.

Championship difference?

2012 he bounced off Kimi in Japan and again lost by 3 points. Belgium RoGro and Hamilton knocked Alonso off too.
Loss not all a Ferrari fault.
