I'm not jumping to conclusions yet. It's only the second race and it was at Fuji, where Toyota has won every time but once (in 2015 when they were absolutely outclassed and outspent). Rebellion said
they chose the wrong tire compound as well. This probably explained why they were 2 seconds slower in qualifying than last year. The weather was warmer than they expected I'd wager so the tire compound they chose was out of it's optimum range.
