From my experience its great. I think it does echoing what he said give you a way of expressing yourself.
When I was in class and in general life I'd be quiet and say little (still do) but when out on circuit (kart ones) I'd just be free from any judgement or the like and would tear around for half an hour and it would make me feel blooming great and have a sense of achievement. . I have even had a couple of compliments aswell
