As a tempory soluion it's okay but in normal covid free times I prefer the Bathurst 12 Hour in february as a season opener and keep the 1000 km race near at the end of the season.
Although Bathurst is one of the best tracks in the world I prefer one event on the SC schedule.
Add a 500 km race for TCR cars besides the 12h and 1000 km and I am happy.
