Zanardi is the name that would certainly come to mind concerning recent drivers. The way he blitzed the field in CART for two seasons spoke volumes about his talent, but once in that Williams, the spark was gone. He just couldn't get to grips with the cars and was just bloody unlucky all season.
A name mentioned in a post above was Vincenzo Sospiri. There is a guy who just never got a chance to impress.
