Alo Lawler did a lot for Aintree Circuit club too, though a rare sight on a Tuesday night session. When he bought the ex Davina Galisa Surtees TS 19 we hoped it would appear but a DFV is an expensive tool just to slog around a circuit it would not actually race on. In fact the only DFV ever to run at Aintree I think was Jeremy Lord in a Lola T 292?
You are right about Norman Dickson campaigning a 792 in 79 - probably wished he saved his money. According to book "Four Guys & a Telephone" - the history of March it was an inferior car to the earlier 782
Kim Mather later got himself a 782 i beleive.
