I have heard other stories about the Isachsen Focus. I am led to believe that the regulations about weight distribution were revised because of that car.

I think Godfrey still has a pretty good reputation for Ford and Citroen engines, sure there are still a few of his engines in use in Europe and definitely a number in the UK.

There have been some disgruntled customers though (which I daresay is true of virtually every engine builder) and his track record with Japanese engines (that I know of) isn't great.
