I don't think DRS has resulted in all that much additional passing. Assume PtP could be programmed to prevent "car in front" from enabling PtP at any predetermined time interval after "car immediately behind" enabled PtP. Would surely result in more passing.
Driver in front would have to be very selective about using PtP, as he would only be guessing about when the guy behind is going to utilize it.
