According to the 1986 Bathurst yearbook, it was used for Sandown, Bathurst etc after Garry Roger's regular car (described as the ex-Jim Richards JPS car from 1985) was shunted in a late season ATCC round- the ex-JPS car was also rebuilt and took on the display and spare car role for Bathurst
