The point of the initial hype was to get teams and drivers thinking about TCR, which is exactly what has happened. You'll now get a period of lull whilst teams and drivers work behind closed doors to do the negotiations and try to find the budget.
Those running a two-car team will probably wait until both seats are filled before announcing anything.
