Bruce Mitchell (Lotus Europa) leads the championship after three class wins in races which were held on 20th and 21st July. Overall winner in each race was Alistair Baptie (MGBV8), but lack of competitors in his class meant that he accrued fewer points than Mitchell and dropped to second in the championship.
John Kinmond took two second places and retired from the other race due to electrical problems.
Class A remains the most competitive, with drivers in third to fifth places overall: Mario Ferrari (Alfasud), Michael Longstaffe (MG Midget) and William Conway (Mini 1275GT).
First time out for Alistair Coates’ Escort RS2000 and Andrew Kinmond’s Reliant Scimitar.
Next event is at Croft on 17th & 18th August.
