Also, Whitham made some comments about the Panigale and the reworked bottom area i.e. it used to be exposed pipes but now has bodywork; he was querying what the legality of that was since the class is supposedly silhouette based. Do Ducati have to produce road-going Panigale's with the new bottom layout or have they got some sort of dispensation?

Good points, particularly about the fairing on the Panigale, no doubt they'll get round it somehow
