From the team' point of view, it's a understandable as they were really struggling with the 650S, while the Merc is probably one of the best (if not the best) GT3 machine at the moment.

Think AKKA ASP are going to want to stay with Merc with so many teams now given AMG TEAM status?
The fact they gave Strakka 'AMG Performance Team' status in theory puts them up there with HTP and Black Falcon.
Surely people like Zakspeed and AKKA ASP won't be too happy to have a third factory aligned Team taking their resources
