Yes, the Hewland should be a bolt on choice for the Porsche engine. The 4 cams is said to be fragile as crystal and requires good knowledge to settle the timings, ignition and camshafts.
Do you know if the Alfa version used was twin spark type? To get a decent power level from this 1300, you'll have to rev' it high which means reinforce the crank case, Ã* la Novamotor for example.
