Though I read that the ACO was looking or talking with the FIA about new F1 hybrid engines. as a result the FIA was futher along in exploring options with teams.
IIRC the ACO only wanted ONE type of hybrid engine so it is easy to police and is simular to all hybrid engines from differnt manufactures.
