I think a lot of people were expecting more LMP2s and less GTE Ams, as certain rage quits over the entry list also imply. There's only 15 GTE Am cars racing anywhere this year and 13 of them are at Le Mans, and the 6 of the 9 announced reserves were LMP2 cars.
