Super Touring cars and S2000; This time Sweden used technical rules by FIA and national Swedish technical rules, to get maximum starting field, maximum car brands and car models.

Country’s that use it´s on trademark, have more car brands and models in there Touring car racing. In China Touring Car Championship “2,0 turbo super cup”; https://youtu.be/CoFIk35M9us

China CTCC are having Ford Focus, Volkswagen Lamando, Baicmotor Senova 70s, Haima, Citroén, Mercedes, KIA, Honda, Mazda participating. A lot of these car brands and models are produced in plants in China.

BTCC haven`t rebranded it to “NGTC” , when they changed technical rules.

In BTCC they are doing the same they have MG, Proton, Vauxhall which are produced in U.K. BTCC have 11 car brands, taking part today.

Every country have special customers needs who have it owns expectations and need local marketing strategy to be fur filled.
Go ahead and tell me the difference between "STCC" and "STCC TCR Scandinavia". No one outside forums like this one will actually know it's got a new name they'll just keep calling it STCC as they have done for 20 years. It really doesn't matter.
I don't know why they've chosen the franchise over FiA's TCN2, maybe you can shed some light on that. Obviously the organizers have seen advantages by going with WSC rather than the FiA. Perhaps better availability of new cars?
