I'm going to reignite this thread and I do think that while the figure 8 is a good concept, and I understand your logic, there are a few issues. I really like SBF's concept as well and think that is a better way to fit a crossover on an oval, would be able to fit more track in an arena for the fans, and it would be like having half a lap of Daytona and half of Martinsville speedway. and that got me thinking, it doesn't necessarily have to be 2 ovals right? how many can I do? at the moment I'm at 6 in a star formation.
