Another way is to look at the views on Natsoft. These were 20,000 for the Supercars meeting.

Overshadowing this was the Natsoft views for the State Championship meeting at Mallala on the same weekend. This was over 2,700,000 as below:

Number of Natsoft views doesn't really signify anything Terry. However at a State Race Meeting, other than official notice board, Natsoft is the only way for competitors to check their times, their friends, sponsors to check results etc. For a Supercar round, the competitors have that information fed direct to them via monitors and the LAN established through the paddock; friends, family & sponsors have multiple media reports and live coverage to follow results. If there were similar or more views on Natsoft, it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Having said that, 2.7 million "views" is excessive and represents a spike that indicates something weird was going on at that race meeting (previous SA State Round at Mallala this year had 7,500 odd views). The next highest number of views for any race meeting in any state in 2018 on Natsoft was the Phillip Island Classic at 44,000.

Clearly there's something that has either gone wrong with the system or caused a vast number of repeat "views" for that particular race meeting. Sorry but it's clearly a flawed data source on which to base the point you're trying to make.
