Don't believe the masses.
Book a cheap flight to Genoa or Turin. They do not even realise it's Monaco weekend. In year 2000 I got 2.99 Pounds each way.
If you stay in Villefranche sur Mer, Hotel Vaubin, book Room 6, it is the only one with a sea view and a winner with the ladies...
Or....Stay in Ventimiglia on the border. Cheap. Take the train into Monaco. Cheap.
Then..Write on here how boring it really was...
