Hardly suprising this year.

The GT Open Cup has been boring racing with small grids since its inception. I think it makes sense to add it to the main series while numbers are low.

GT Open does well usually for race by race entries, and the current climate makes that harder, so they seem to be taking a hit.

Despite the low grid counts the racing is still good, and I dont doubt grids will grow again next year.

RE: silverstone, big shame, but I think Brexit may have something to do with it, the WEC isnt doing a UK round either, and GTWC havent announced Silverstone yet.

Its not looking like us Brits will get to see much International GT sportscar racing on home soil in 21. Currently only the GTWC Sprint races at Brands scheduled
