Upside Down Bug should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
This has drifted off topic, but Tony Trimmer ran in a F5000 car at Lydden in 1995 and was under 40s. Also Eddie McLurg is back racing at Lydden in SEMSEC Single seaters in a F2 March and is regularly getting down to 40s. But the quickest guy at the moment is Mark Burton in a Jade Sportscar who has done some 39s and is threatening to get under 38s. If you go to sprints however, the MSA Championship regularly has guys running well under 38s but do not count for lap record as in a sprint.

Back to thread - Pat's time I mentioned was in his Fiesta and at the same meeting Dermot recorded a 2.33.74 in the Focus.
