The incedent with berger at estoril happened(mostly) from ferrari's terrible design of active suspension.It was programed to drop down to a certain hight at a certain speed-abit too abruptly it must be said.It did it just as the car hit a bit of a bump at the end of the pitlane-just as berger put the hammer down.Which all brings to mind some comment by patrick head about ferrari's design theories."we spent a few hours designing the software for the '92 williams & it stayed that way for(3 years?).Ferrari spend x millions and 6 months designing theirs & thats the result!'
