My opinion is that it just recreates the prior problem. In that things like mass damper and interer/j-damper are passive solutions that are like high end mechanical watches. They are very well made but as a timekeeper they are less accurate than a much less expensive quartz watch. Why bring back relatively expensive mechanical solutions in which teams try to optimize when higher tech active solutions might provide a better and cheaper solution. Plus it can be an element of "F1 technical prowess" that may not exist in other series.
