British GT Parity ?

I was just wondering how the SRO group handles the touchy subject of parity amongst vehicles in both the GT2 and GT3 classes.
I read that in the FIA GT Championship the the FIA holds the right to add weight or Air restrictors if it feels that one vehicle has a distinct advantage.

In Australia parity has been a thorn in the side of GT Racing, with it being one of the issues that brought the demise of GT Racing in its previous guise.

So I was just wondering how this issue is controlled in Britain or if it is even an issue at all ?
