Al I'm afraid you have confused me on tyres. What do you suggest i fit.
Tyres- For 6hr race list 1b Yokohama AO48-R I would have thought. List 1a are more road biased.

Brakes- As Joe says- 9" drums and backplates. Lotus Cortina, Twincam, RS16, Mex, Mk2 RSs and several Capri models at least used them. Capri had different widths as well.

I asked about halfshafts because the Gp1 two piece ones that are very lovely but expensive are made for Mk2 Escort and move drum (If it is MK1 RS fit) out a few mm. I had to fit MK2 drums on my road RS16 to get back to where they should be. Even Quaife at that time didn't realise there was a difference!
