Nope, it only ran a couple of times with it in period- significantly once in an International permit race. Probably won't be of any benefit but looks good and would put car in more appropriate weight class in the proposed HSCC series.
Iain, thanks for the offer. Don't think headlining needed (or appropriate in a race car!) and as discussed any Mk1 Escort door cards would do- just spray them satin black like I did! Just checked- As Al says CTCRC doesn't require headlining and side trim must be 'original or equivalent material of the period'. So guess not ally then.
