A wet and exciting race weekend in France is over, with excellent performances by local hero Loris Baz, and Rea building up a lead of 59 points in the championship, which will be practically impossible for Redding to reel in over the final race weekend in Estoril in two weeks' time.
The manufacturers' championship is still open though, with Kawasaki leading Ducati by only 26 points, and 62 points to be decided in the final round.
