Vettel was on a war path all weekend with his comments on Pirelli reducing the tire tread depth to suit the Mercedes and Red Bull cars. Almost every interview he did during the weekend he mentioned the Pirelli change was because Mercedes and Red Bull requested the change. He requested for a back to back test of the two different tires during the in-season test currently underway in Spain to confirm he's belief.

Sebastian Vettel: "I think it’s pretty straightforward. Normally you don’t get the chance to revisit these kind of decisions that are made, but I think we did now with the day that we had today.
"I think the result is that if we had the normal tyres on Sunday, we would have probably been even worse off.
"I think it was the correct call, and it was our fault not to have the same tyre wear or life as other people.
"It’s good to have the test to be able to compare and I think we have some ideas. Now it’s up to us to turn those ideas into reality."
