I wouldn't be so sure of that considering the IndyCar project Enzo oversaw. Sure it was a bargaining chip to get the new F1 regulations changed to his liking, but the amount of effort that went into the car is certainly indicative that Enzo was willing to commit to leaving F1 for IndyCar if he didn't get his way.
