Good point, a top-hung pedal system might be a little more difficult to work on given access would be more difficult, but heat transfer should be reduced. Surely there is scope for more insulation with the current system anyway.
Is it acceptable that drivers routinely burn their foot, or is "harden up princess, that's what you get paid for" the right answer?
