I will always remember the twenty eleven Le Mans. Audi lost two cars in big accidents, in which both drivers get out not too badly injured. So it was left to the remaining Audi to fend off the 3 Peugeots and did it, with all the pressure of the lead Peugeot snapping at it’s heels.
I really did appreciate it at the time, which is just as well, as this close competition between manufacturers really added to it. Let’s hope we see it return with new rules in two years time
