... you must not have been at sebring. every time i saw them they were passing a porsche. driveshaft failure eventually put them down for good.
during sebring i spoke with a fellow in the orbit racing paddock area (extremely cool bunch, those orbit boys!), and he thought that the calloway and trinkler vettes already needed more engine restriction.
the gt vettes are at the beginning of their curve. you have not seen the last of them. after they are sorted they will be fast!
(after all, american cars are whipping the tar out of gts. why not gt?)
