Getting back to the real topic of this thread:
The organisers at Goodwood (and other Historic Festivals) like to play around with the regs from year to year, to give everyone a chance. The classic example is with the Formula Junior race at the Revival Meeting, which seems to be limited to front-engined cars one year and open to rear-engined cars the next.
