Haydn should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

The T55/Mk5a in Australia (mid 90's - 2000) arrived with SCA, 6 speed Hewland, 30 degree adaptor and outboard front suspension. From all indications it appeared to be a rebuilt Mk5a with pushrod rocker pivot bushes and inner mounting points still intact on the frame. It raced with F.J. engine and 5 speed only for a short period of time in Australia then was sold to U.S.

According to "Lola History" in Autosport Dec 6 1968 all T53, T54 and T55's were at some stage Mk5a's.

As for the number of Mk5a's two references list 10 Mk5a's. These are "Lola History" Autosport Dec 6 1968 and the book "British Racing Green" p 238.

I dont have a definitive list for all cars. There seems to be more around now than there were in 1963.

I can tell you that only 9 Mk5's were made by Lola.

I have a note in my files which indicates Roman Dirschl as having Mk5a # BRJ61. Can't confirm however.

Cheers
