Alvaro Parente still leads the GT driver's championship, his lead extended to 95 points over Patrick Long. Michael Cooper sits third, only 6 points further back. Johnny O'Connell, who won both races last year, still sits fourth.
Notably, following avoidable contact while under probation at Mid-Ohio,
James Davison has been suspended from participation in Utah Race 1.
Also, Utah will see the
pro debut of Johnny O'Connell's son, Canaan, with Techsport Racing in the TCB class.
PWC has yet to release the Sprint-X entry for UMC.
