It is with great sadness that we learn that Britain's oldest marshal (possibly the wold's oldest active marshal), Don Hall passed away on Thursday 23 August at 4.30am, just two days before his 92nd birthday.
After a short illness and with his family at his side he passed away very peacefully.
Our thoughts and condolences are with all of Don's family and friends.
His wider motorsport family in particular will miss him greatly.
A fitting tribute took place at Oulton Park on Saturday at the Gold Cup meeting - Don's favourite event and also his 92nd birthday when a minute's "flag wave" tribute took place all around the circuit.
