NHSL should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
A lot has been made of the fact that the Le Mans start was the first one - leading straight into a race - since the 60's, but that's not the case.

The Bentley people have forgotten the Silverstone BDC meeting in August 1980, when to commemorate 50 years since the 1930 win at Le Mans race 6 was a Le Mans start. It was during the days of the old Woodcote and we all lined up on the GP circuit and once we had got going then we were straight into the race. It didn't matter if a car didn't get going as it was not on the club circuit.

David Llewellyn won it.

We did one of the fake ones at Silverstone in 2003, but like LMC we then formed up again for the start, I remember lining up next to Tom Delaney and thinking that if I didn't get to my car before him I was giving up as he was about 90 at the time.
