Please Mike no offense in my words, its an open mind discussion. When young I had the opportunity to race good 911's like 2.7 RS and 3.0 RS in Grp3 form. Three years or so ago, got a phone call from Monaco. Famous collector and racer on the phone.
The person says he just bought one of my 3.0 RS, asking if it was possible for me to authenticate the said car. Here we go! I said it was probably the one I totally wrecked at Montlhéry in '75, hence we had to change the body. Not tongue in cheek! Believe me or not, this man never admitted that it was not fully original in his terms adding I was wrong on the car!
